Spirit of the Witch Review
Characters: My favorite by far in this series is the old ladies. They had me rolling in the book. I really like Yvette. She is fiery and strong-willed a little stubborn. I found her relatable. Loved her relationship with her dad and her sisters. I love how her sisters provided comic relief. Jacob I didn’t find super believable. I felt he was a little forward toward Yvette, considering he just god burned with his best friend and his girl.

Atmosphere: The setting is in a super cute little town. As the series progresses it builds upon the characters of the town. You still get a peek of the progression of the characters that you have read in previous books. But each book introduces new characters as well as tells the stories of a character we may have already met.
Writing/Plot: Short read. Very predictable plot kind of enemies to lovers. These books seem to have similar plot lines just different characters.
Intrigue: It’s a cute fun read. I did read it in almost one sitting. But it was mostly to see what kind of trouble the old ladies were going to stir up.
Logic: I didn’t find Jacob that believable. I feel like he would be so forward, a little flirty maybe.
Enjoyment: I totally enjoyed it. Super cute short read. Great if you just want to dive into a little magical simple romance plot story.
