Review of Murder of Crows By Anne Bishop is the 2nd book in the series The Others. I was really excited to start Murder of Crows. I liked Written in Red and I wanted to see how Meg’s and Simon’s relationship developed. Was this series going to start a romance? If the controller did get to Meg and bring her back to the compound, how would the others bring her back? Or would Anne Bishop continue with sheltering Meg and keep her safe in the Other’s territory?

Overview Of Murder of Crows
This story begins at the end of Written in Red. Meg is recovering from falling in the ice while trying to run from the men who were trying to capture her and the Others punishing the humans with a storm that threatened there town. But meg tries to push on and continue to have a life that she has never had before. Make her own choices, have friends, do her job. But being a cassandra sangue not under the control of a caregiver means that she is a danger to herself more than the prophecies the speaks.
The Others who viewed the humans as just another source of meat and clever inventors of the cool gadgets they now have access to now has a human pack in their territory. The human pack is not just non-edible humans that the Terra indigene tolerate has employees. This human pack is starting to have voices and opinions about the Court Yard.
The controller is still out there and still making attempts to bring her back. He has up his game and using his Cassandra Sangue to gain more money and power.
The Humans First and Last Movement try to capitalize on someone making a drug that can kill Terra indigene and rise against them because they feel suppressed by the Others.
Review of Murder of Crows
What keeps me coming back for more is Meg and Simon. Or more Simon. I want to know when he realizes he is in love with Meg. And what he does when he realizes this. Also what the Others are going to do about it if anything when they realize it. The war between the humans and the others is a side note but doesn’t do it for me.
“Do any of them realize that Simon Wolfgard is falling in love with Meg Corbyn?“

Wasn’t enough danger. Not enough people died for a war brewing. Meg stayed within the safety of the courtyard the whole time. Ether give me romance or give me death!!
