Hush, Hush Summary

Coach McConaughy decided to switch up the seating chart which separated Nora Grey, and her best friend Vee from being bio partners. Nora is now partnered with the new anti-social transfer named Patch.

He’s tall dark and full of secrets. Patch seems to turn Nora’s world upsidedown. Strange things start to happen and she can’t help to thing the Patch is the cause of them. She also feels a is a strong connection forming between them as they spend more time together, but Nora is not so sure she can trust her feelings about Patch.

Hush, Hush Review

I felt like Nora let a lot slide with Patch. He was a jerk. I actually thought Miss Greene was a more interesting and compelling character then Nora and Patch.

The plot holes are strong with this one. I get what Becca Fitzpatrick was going for, but if it wasn’t for the weird romance part I think I would have liked it more.

I kept reading to find more plot holes.

I didn’t feel the chemistry between Nora and Patch. He was a complete jerk to her. He publicly embarrassed her, staked her, admitted to mentally manipulated her, and she’s like “I know he has secrets and a dark past so I love him?” WHAT?!?! And his explanation for loving her was “you change my mind.” Um ok?

I did enjoy it otherwise it would be a 1star. I think if the romance was written better and there was more about the fallen angel world I would have liked Hush, Hush a lot more.

About Becca Fitzpatrick

Becca Fitzpatrick grew up reading Nancy Drew and Trixie Belden with a flashlight under the covers. She graduated college with a degree in health, which she promptly abandoned for storytelling. When not writing, she’s most likely prowling sale racks for reject shoes, running, or watching crime dramas on TV. She is the author of the bestselling HUSH, HUSH Saga.
